winter minigolf with tanja
Fun and Games with a Lake View

Tanja pulls her jacket a little tighter and pauses for a moment before stepping onto the well-maintained course. All around her, the mountains lie peacefully beneath the winter sky, their peaks dusted with snow, while down in Spiez the green playing surface invites visitors to enjoy a game. The contrast feels almost surreal – as if someone had placed a little piece of summer in the middle of winter.
“This really is quite special,” says Tanja with a laugh as she picks up her minigolf club. Her breath is visible in the cold air, mingling with the fresh breeze from the lake, yet everything feels light and carefree. The course is beautifully designed and well maintained, with small obstacles along the way that require concentration and a little skill.
With every shot, Tanja becomes a little more relaxed. Everyday life seems far away, replaced by the click of the ball, the laughter of her companions and the quiet murmur of the other players. Every now and then, she pauses to look out over Lake Thun and take in the wintry scenery.

“I never thought minigolf could be this much fun in winter,” she says as she focuses a little more intently on the next hole. The ball rolls, bounces slightly off the edge and then finds its way to the target after all. A small success that brings a proud smile to her face.
Between holes, there is time for conversation, a warming sip of tea and the special feeling of playing minigolf here in winter. For Tanja, it is this combination of activity, nature and uncomplicated fun that makes the experience so special.
After playing the final hole, she pauses for another moment. Her gaze wanders across the course, towards the mountains and back to Spiez. “This is exactly the kind of place you want to come back to,” she thinks as she puts down her club. Winter minigolf in Spiez – unexpected, carefree and just right for a day between snow and sunshine.
